How frequently do you dose CBD Oil? How do you dose CBD Oil with children of varying ages?

When it comes to frequency of dosing, there is such a thing as overdoing CBD Oil. When you overdo CBD Oil, you develop a tolerance to it. You keep on needing increasing doses of the CBD Oil to get the same effect. And, that effect plateaus eventually lead to no effect, regardless of how much you take. At the end of the day, what you experience with CBD Oil are the side effects and not the medical benefits when you get to the plauteau point.

When it comes to dosing CBD Oil, it varies highly from person to person. In my clinical experience treating patients, even for the exact same medical condition, the dose can vary highly.

For example, I had 2 patients who struggled with Insomnia, but were otherwise healthy. They were of similar body shape and size. In other words, they had similar BMIs (Body Mass Index). Both used the exact same CBD product. One patient needed 2.5 mg of CBD to sleep better, while the other patient needed 50 mg of CBD to sleep better.

What kind of CBD Oil is safe to use?

The CBD Oil industry is not regulated. And, anyone can sell anything and call it CBD Oil. And, there have been cases in which by laboratory testing there’s little to no CBD in the bottle, and yet the manufacturers are claiming on the labeling that it is in fact CBD Oil.

Having said that, how do you determine that a CBD Oil is safe to take?

There are a series of question you absolutely have to ask the seller of the CBD Oil, starting by asking for laboratory test results. And, if the company cannot provide laboratory test results, then it’s a no-go. Don’t buy the CBD Oil because you don’t know what’s in it.

The laboratory test results are important because it’s going to provide with the exact amounts of CBD & THC in the CBD Oil. The laboratory test results vary by batch. Each batch has a different has a different amount of CBD and THC.

With the amount of CBD, you want to look at the total amount of CBD in that’s in the product. It can range on average anywhere from 250 mg of CBD to 1000 mg of CBD in an ounce.

Make sure that the amount of THC is less than 0.3%, which meets the legal requirement.

Make sure the the CBD Oil has been tested for pesticides. It’s not a regulated industry. Growers can use whatever pesticides that they want. And, when these pesticides are left behind in toxic levels, they can seep into the CBD Oil and end up doing you harm.

Make sure the CBD Oil has been tested for fungus and bacteria, which is especially important for people with compromised immune systems. So, we’re talking about people with HIV/AIDS, people who are undergoing chemotherapy for Cancer, people who are on immunosuppressants for an autoimmune condition, people who have had organ transplants, etc. Bugs like E. Coli, Salmonella, Aspergillus, Pseudomonas, etc. have been traced back to both the Hemp and Marijuana plants. These bugs can end up doing a lot of harm to the person who isn’t able to fight off these bugs.

Make sure the CBD Oil has been tested for Heavy Metals. The Cannabis family of plants – both Hemp and Marijuana – are known as bioaccumulators. Hemp & Marijuana soak up heavy metals in their environment. When there are toxic amounts of these heavy metals in your CBD Oil, then it could end up doing you more harm than good. And there have been undercover investigations that have been done by various news channels, in which toxic levels of Lead have been found in CBD Oils. You want to make sure the CBD Oil has been tested for Arsenic, Cadmium, Lead & Mercury.

Make sure the CBD Oil has been tested for residual amounts of solvents. There are unsafe solvents and safe solvents that are used to make CBD Oil.

Unsafe solvents include Propane, Hexane & Butane. Propane is used to fire up your barbecue grill. Hexane is used to make glue. Butane is used in lighter fluid. When these solvents are used to extract CBD and other cannabinoids from Hemp or Marijuana, they can get left behind in toxic levels, and end up doing your body harm.

There are safe solvent, which are being used more and more to make CBD Oil – Carbon Dioxide and Ethanol. Ultimately, you’re better off selecting a CBD Oil made with either Carbon Dioxide or Ethanol.

Does CBD Oil Help Anxiety?

I have found CBD Oil to be very effective for Anxiety. In fact, oftentimes CBD Oil is even more effective than pharmaceutical medications. Typically, patients report back that with CBD Oil they feel more calm & more relaxed. With patients who experience panic attacks, CBD Oil helps to reduce and even eliminate the panic attacks that they experience.

What is the best way to use CBD Oil for high blood pressure?

CBD Oil is not effective for high blood pressure. Over the years, I’ve treated patients with Chronic Pain, Anxiety, or Insomnia who also happen to have high blood pressure. When these patients return for a follow up after having been on CBD Oil for at least a year, I’ve found that they need to continue to stay on their prescription medications for their high blood pressure as the CBD Oil has not impacted their blood pressure in anyway. The CBD Oil hasn’t made their blood pressure worse, but it hasn’t made it better either.

There are certain organs in the body that you just don’t want to mess with. And the heart is one of them. High blood pressure is related to the heart. You don’t want to play around with your high blood pressure medications because it’s like playing with fire, which can immediately lead to death.

I do not recommend CBD Oil for the treatment of high blood pressure. And, if anyone says otherwise, they’re giving you advice that’s not based on medical knowledge and experience.
