I’m back to give you even more info on how to find the best CBD Oil. Another important factor to take into consideration is testing for fungus & bacteria. You want to make sure that the CBD Oil has been tested for both – fungus & bacteria.
So, first of all, why is it even important that the CBD Oil is tested for fungus & bacteria?
Bacteria & fungus like to live off of living, breathing organisms. And, given that the Cannabis plant is a living, breathing organism, there’s always the rare chance that bacteria & fungus can sneak their way onto the Cannabis plant and quite possibly even into your CBD Oil.
And, it’s not just people with compromised immune systems who should be worried.
But, also folks with healthy immune systems can be just as affected. Let me explain.
Salmonella & E. Coli. I’m sure you’ve heard of them. They’re the most common bugs that have been traced back to the Cannabis plant. And, if you get infected with them, they can get you pretty sick. We’re talking diarrhea, vomiting, stomach cramps, basically, the works.
And, then people with compromised immune systems have a couple other bugs they should watch out for.
Now, on a side note, I want to specify who these people with compromised immune systems includes, for instance, those who are undergoing chemotherapy for Cancer, people with HIV/AIDS, and people on immunosuppressants. Common instances in which people are placed on immunosuppressants include people who who’ve had organ transplants or people diagnosed with an autoimmune condition. And, of course, this is not an exhaustive list.
But, back to what I was saying, people with compromised immune systems have a couple other bugs they should watch out for.
These include, Pseudomonas & Aspergillus.
So, the second step in finding the best CBD Oil is to check out the lab test results for fungus & bacteria.
- Ask for laboratory test results.
- Make sure the CBD Oil has been tested by a third-party independent lab, preferably one that’s certified by the state, not a private lab.
- Look to make sure that the CBD Oil has been tested for fungus & bacteria. I’ll walk you through an example.
In this particular case, the sample was tested for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC), Salmonella, plus Yeast & Molds. You’ll notice that for each of these organisms, it says ND, which means not detected. Pseudomonas in this case was not tested for.
Alright so there you have it. You now know about all about checking your CBD Oil out for fungus & bacteria.
And remember, if the company is in anyway skirting around being transparent with lab test results, then I’d say it’s a no-go. You have plenty of other options when it comes to CBD Oil.
