Everyone around you is talking about CBD Oil and you’re too ashamed to admit you don’t know what it is. That’s ok.  That’s what I’m here for.

So, first of all, let me lay the foundation.

We a family of plants – the Cannabis family of plants.

Within this family there’s Hemp & there’s Marijuana. Both make CBD & THC.

There’s a difference though in how much THC they make. Hemp by generally an international legal standard has less than 0.3% THC, and by default Marijuana has more than 0.3% THC.

To make an oil these chemicals are extracted from the plant using either Carbon Dioxide, Alcohol, a Hydrocarbon. Typically, this extract is then mixed in with a carrier oil. And, because what’s primarily extracted from Hemp is CBD, it’s commonly known as a CBD Oil.
